Le Doctor's Pen orné du bâton d'Asclépios
Voici la nouvelle version du Doctor's Pen Conway Stewart, gravée d'un nouveau motif guilloché baptisé "Waves". Le premier Doctor's Pen en édition limitée s'est vendu en totalité début 2022 ; ce nouveau modèle a donc été conçu pour les membres de la profession médicale qui nous réclamaient sans cesse un autre Doctor's Pen.
Cette version conserve toutes les mêmes caractéristiques particulières ; le capuchon et le corps sont réalisés en argent sterling et ont été gravés à l'aide d'une authentique machine à guillocher vieille de près de 100 ans - toujours en parfait état de fonctionnement.
Le nouveau motif "Waves" confère à ce stylo une allure véritablement majestueuse, qui scintille lorsqu'on le fait tourner à la lumière. Chaque stylo est poinçonné par le bureau de garantie de Birmingham avec les pleins poinçons anglais sur le corps, confirmant la pureté de l'argent.
Le clip du stylo représente le bâton d'Asclépios – un symbole formé d'un serpent enroulé autour d'un bâton, qui tire son nom du dieu Asclépios, divinité associée à la guérison et aux arts médicinaux dans la mythologie grecque. Il est associé à la profession médicale depuis des milliers d'années.
À l'extrémité du capuchon figure une inscription gravée "The Doctor's Pen – Made in England" qui confirme ses origines britanniques.
Les propriétés antibactériennes de l'argent
Les scientifiques savent depuis longtemps que l'argent est un puissant agent antibactérien. Les ions d'argent agissent en pénétrant les membranes bactériennes puis en se liant aux composants essentiels des cellules, empêchant ainsi la propagation des bactéries. L'argent est couramment utilisé dans les pansements pour plaies et dans les revêtements de poignées de porte afin de réduire la transmission des germes. Il était donc naturel, en concevant le Doctor's Pen, de le réaliser en argent sterling, composé à 92,5 % d'argent.

BALLPOINT REFILL/ MECHANISM
This ballpoint pen features a convenient, user-friendly twist-action mechanism that retracts and extends the ballpoint refill with a simple turn of the cap. This way, you can quickly get your pen ready for writing or safely tuck the refill back into the barrel when you're done, protecting the tip and preventing accidental marks. The high-quality ballpoint refill is a P900 (often known as a Parker refill) and replacements are available worldwide.
